MMC3.0 and DTS error

I am posting to this group bcuz technically, the Management console is
part of Windows but my problem is in SQL Server.

I just installed MMC3.0 to use with SQL Server. My prior version of
MMC was 2.0.
The problem Is:
1) Go into MMC (SQL Server .MSC)
2) I have 7 registered servers. Click on DTS.
3) Open 2 or 3 DTS packages for editting on any server (7.0 or 2000).
4) Close the DTS pkgs. Open another one.
5) The MMC goes blank. It is completely grey. When you hover over the
menu at the top of the MMC it slowly changes to the menu for DTS pakgs
(add SQL Task, etc.)
6) Click close for the MMC.
7) An error is produced (Do you want to send to MS...blah...blah?)

This has happened to 2 PC in our area. Has anyone else seen this? Is
there a fix?

This is on XP Pro w/ SP2 and MDAC2.8
