I am talking to a couple of people at MS right now about an issue I had
earlier. My older post is null. I did create a group on my PC, logged in
with my phone and the new group showed up. My problem is this: Most of my
contacts are non-messaging contacts. I can NOT move those contacts into any
other group, and my phone (Samsung i760/Mobile 6) will not see those non-msg
contacts at all. Any suggestions would be great, I'll also post back here
if I get this resolved. I did find a way to get those contacts on the
phone, as I posted earlier

Have you tried to go, on your phone, to http://mobile.live.com and then
login to your Contacts? There you should see all of them.

Best,
k.

Yes, I have.. it doesn't work. At least, the non-IM contacts do NOT show
up, and if there are any non-im contacts ina group, that whole group won't
show. The regular contacts show up fine.

I'm assuming you're talking about WLM for Windows Mobile 6.

What version are you using? Have you tried a newer version?

In http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334621 there should be a
thread on WLM for WM6, I believe the latest version there is 10.6.33.0600.

Try that one... and see if there are any problems.

I'm not sure how to get a newer version of Windows Mobile 6 onto the phone.
I ran windows update from the phone, and It said I was up to date.

Sorry, maybe I was being a bit vague; I meant a new version of Windows Live
Messenger (as opposed to Windows Mobile 6)

There's .cab files for download on that site. Copy them to your phone while
it's plugged in/connected to your computer, and then run them in File
Manager.
