mobile messaging

Since 12/26/07 I 've been experncg difficulties mobile messaging. Gives me an
error "messaging service is temprl unavailable". I tried mobile messaging to
every contact and I always get the same message. need help please

I started having this problem in the last couple of days. I thought maybe it
was just a short term MSN problem, but a few of my friends said that thiers
worked just fine. I used an old msn account, and the feature worked. Is
there a setting that I have disabled???

When you say an "old account", do you mean an old account with mobile messaging on -or-
another account which you then used to use mobile messaging (sent to same contact)?

I have two different MSN accounts. One that I use all the time for personal
use, and one that I have had for some time and don't use as often. I was
trying to send a mobile text message through MSN on the personal use account,
and kept getting the error. Out of curiousity, I logged into that older
second account. I tried sending a message to the SAME contacts mobile
number, and IT WORKED.

So I was able to send a text message to the contact from one account, but
unable to send a text message to the SAME contact from the second account. I
keep getting an error message that says, "Mobile Messaging Service is
Temorarily Unavailable". This pops us within the chat window.

That lead me to believe that is was not Cingular blocking the message
service, since it went through when I used the second account. Thought that
maybe I changed something in my settings on accident.

I am having the same problem. Using my acct I can no longer use mobile
messening. This occurs from two diff pcs on multiple networks. This occurs
on 8.0 and 8.1

I've been having the exact same problem, i posted yesterday. Not only
Cingula customers, i've tried to mobile message ppl using Tmobile, verizon
and even sprint. It works from one account, but not another that i use most
often. the problem isnt just limited to the account on one computer, it
persists even when i sign on from different computers. perhaps there's a
limit to the number of offline messages you can send and ive surpassed that?
otherwise, i cant for the life of me figure out whats happening!
