mobile SMS not working

Hi,not sure if anyone has same problem. In the past, I can receive and reply
SMS from my mobile phone to my contacts. but now I can only receive SMS send
from WLM, my contact cannot receive SMS I replied.

What exactly happens when you reply? For instance, do you actually get a response back
saying your command was not understood (or something similar)?

Also, it would be helpful to know which carrier you're using and what country you're in as
the SMS services are different on every system.

Having the same issue. Not just one account it is many different account
(family etc)

they can all receive sms to phone but when they replay it goes no where.
doesn't matter who from WMLM is sending message.

AT&T and iphones

Anyone have thoughts? used to work with iphones or any other phone

I'm having the same problem.

My friends in Mexico, probably using the Spanish language version of WLM
can only send SMS to me, but never receive my replies. This used to work
fine.

HOWEVER: I have WLM 8.1 (build 8.1.0178.00) on one of my PCs and I CAN send
and receive SMS to myself no problem.

I just tried from another PC I have here at home that has a newer version
and also Spanish language version of WLM. Same problem. I can send SMS to
my cell but I never receive the reply.

My phone is iPhone 3G on AT&T.

Just re-checked my other PC.

Running english language WLM (build 14.0.8064.206).

Can send SMS to my iPhone. Responses never received.

So, seems like this ancient WLM doesn't have this problem but newer ones do.

I have the same problem and it is not releated to to version of the messenget
but to the account. I log into the same version with different account names
ant one works and the other doesn't. Settings are all the same....
