Where is Mobility Center?

Just got a computer with Vista and I'm trying to learn what's new. I found
Windows Mobility Center as I was going through the "what's new in Vista"
help center. It gives a link that says "To open Moblity Center click here",
but it doesn't tell you where to find the mobility center when your not using
help. Where is it located? Can it be put on the desktop or the taskbar, and
if so how?

it's in Windows\System32 folder, called mblctr.exe . Of course you can
create a shortcut to mblctr.exe and save it on your desktop/taskbar.

If you have the Power icon set to show in the notification area of your
Taskbar, you can right-click that icon to access the Mobility Center. You
can also access it in Control Panel; if the Control Panel is set to show
Classic View, you can right-click the Mobility Center icon and create a
shortcut on your Desktop.

Press the Start Orb, in the Start Search field simply type Mobility Center
and it will be listed as a choice in the results box above. This is how you
can find just about any app or control where you know the name.

and that's the trick, knowing what MS calls things now, as opposed to what
they used to be called.

I'd like to use the power settings option on my desktop so I can easily
adjust power consumption (I leave it on overnight because it controls a
weather station). I can't figure out the magic sequence to display power
options in the notification area. "Power" is greyed out in the toolbar
properties, notification area. I can't launch mobility center because it's
not a notebook.

It seems dumb to actively prevent someone from putting power settings in
their notification area; why wouldn't one want to actively adjust your
system's power consumption? Any ideas?

Hello,

I found the file but when i double click on it, an error message : "Windows
Mobility Center is available only on Mobile PCs" displayed.

I am using notebook Acer Aspire 5583NWXMi
