I have an internal USR PCI modem (3PC5610A) that is only used when DSL line
is down. IT worked under XP SP2, but when I installed Vista, the device
manager says the modem is "working normally", but when I click
diagnostics/querry modem, it says "the modem failed to respond". It is set
to use Com3 (default)
