Hi,
Something seems to be amiss in my Vista install and I am having problem
install some things. Whilst working through some KB articles I was
instructed to "Regsvr32 wbemupgd.dll". The result is a red X and the
following message:

The module "wbemupgd.dll" failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug to check
for problems with the binary.

So I searched my hard drive and it seems that "wbemupgd.dll" has gone
missing. Any idea where I could get this .dll and why it might have gone
missing?
thanks

Which knowledge-base articles were you referring to and what do you need to
install?

These links are for XP,not for Vista, which is why you feel that something is
missing in your installation of Vista. Please tell us the complete and
accurate version as well as edition of SQL Server which you are trying to
install.
