I can load it and use it but it will not save any data. I have trie
uninstalling and reinstalling and it will not save any data. The bac
up function appears to be working fine but when I open money 2006 u
again there is no new data there. Really frustrating. When I need t
keep my finanacial data I have to go to an ancient computer with XP o
it. Ironically supposedly money 2002 work with Vista but I threw m
copy away thinking I have a newer update

Any specific fixes for the backup/saving data issue?

Please help this is frustrating. Getting Microsoft software to work o
my Vista is a mess. My Micorsoft outlook won't save passwords so tha
is also a problem. The MOney issue is one I would really like t
solve

Thank
Cath

Hi Cathy,

The money group is the correct place for your question - however that being
said, move your money file to your documents folder and your work will be
saved. Not sure if I remember, but your program probably saves the file
under the programs folder which is not allowed in Vista. When you work as
you have been Vista creates a virtual file and lets you work in it, but as
you have seen, this file disappears when you close the program and your work
is lost. It's a little confusing. I think you can also solve this problem by
right clicking the program file when you start money and choosing run as
administrator, but I think saving the file in or under the documents folder
is the best option. Hope this helps

Jim
