Hello,

Can anyone help me ,

How do I monitor my dial-up connection traffic & speed. There used to be a
'status' option in XP. I have tried vistas 'reliability & performance' tool,
but it seems to monitor LAN rather than dial-up modem traffic ??

Thanks

K

Use NetMeter - http://www.metal-machine.de/readerror/ I have it on every
Vista computer I have ever set up, for myself and for my customers.

You go to Control Panel/Network & Internet/Network Sharing Center and go to
the Dial-up connection and View Status link.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Is there a way of putting an icon on the bottom RH corner of the toolbar to
start the window directly rather than having to go via control panel etc ?

Thanks again
