more KompoZer annoyance

Yesterday I posted a note regarding Vista Home Prem complaining
that KompoZer-0.7.10.exe did not have a valid signature.
It was suggested that KompoZer was polluted and I should download
a fresh copy. ... No problem. ... I downloaded a fresh copy.

original KompoZer-0.7.10-win32.zip
new copy KompoZer-0.7.10-win32.zip

A file comparison of the original and the fresh copy shows that
they are identical.

Just to be sure, I erased the old copy
C:\Program Files\KompoZer-0.7.10\...
and then tried to use WinZip 8 to extract and re-install.
If you double click KompoZer-0.7.10-win32.zip, you get a screen
full of files. Then select extract, and you get a new small
window asking where you want to extract to...

Now I have a new problem. (or perhaps two or more)

The error message is

If winzip cannot "CREATE" something, there must be a permission
problem.

How about not using WinZip? How about using plain old Windows Explorer.
Right-click >Extract all ...

Consider extracting to another directory and running it from there.

I.e., stay out of Program Files and Program Files (x86).

didn't see you post yesterday but if your using windows 7 it won't let
you load a program at c:\Program files change the path of the
installtion to something else. Like c:\Kompozer
