Words like Unix and linux are not allowed in screen names or mottos...

Check further before. you pass this off as censorship.
If you knew more about the facts, you would realize that there is no
censorship at all.
The other disallowed words you conveniently left off prove censorship
is probably not the reason.
But then you often discount facts when it suits your Microsoft bashing
agenda.

Go back and read more than the first few lines.
As usual in biased articles, reading more than the headlines is
necessary to see the true picture.

For once you are right... Here is the rest of the article from the link
on Digg:

http://riverag.com/2007/09/03/the-wo...-in-xbox-live/

I love Linux and the XBOX 360, so yesterday I tried to include the word
“LINUX” in the motto section on XBOX Live. I was stunned when I got a
message saying “Your motto contains inappropriate language. Please try
again”. Come on Microsoft is that really inappropriate? Maybe only to
you guys.

"For once you are right..."
Well said by one who selectively reads posts as you did the article.
But I knew the truth which is easily found by anyone interested in
facts instead of simply wildly bashing.

Too bad MS had to be so ethical as to clue him in as to why the post was
shitcanned.

So enlighten me Oh fanboi, what did I miss, or selectively leave out?

Some of the other words that prove to reasonable people censorship has
NOTHING to do with it.

"Oh fanboi"
More of the name calling so typical of those insecure of their
positions.
Only those needing to prop up their positions need such flimsy help.

Your inability to answer my question is noted. You and your weak
protestations are more clear than a new, clean window.

So you noted his inability to answer your question. Does that mean on his
next review at work, he will get less of a raise?

Did you read your own link?
It seems not.
The answer to your question is there.
Go read your own source.
Look for other words other than "Linux" that can not be used.
When you finally read your own source, you will see censorship can not
be the issue.

As for "inability", not at all, I read much of your source and now you
should as well.
