I can confirm that I've had no reports of, nor have I experienced personally,
any problems since we removed the file and then uninstalled it. Total count
that received the update before we found out what was going on was 18
computers. None have reported problems and it has been 12 hours now since we
put "the fix" in.
It is much better than having to rollback or reinstall. In our case, that
could have been a disaster. (Too many computers, too little time.)
