mouse icon not seen in media center

cant follow mouse icon around in media center how do i fix

I had the same issue, after turning off the 'show trails' option for the
mouse pointer the problem cleared up. Just go to Mouse in Control Panel and
the pointer options tab, turn off display pointer trail
