Ok guys I have a razer diamondback 1600dpi mouse and since swapping to vista
I have found that occasionally the mouse goes funny. When I am looking on
internets pages when I scroll with the wheel it makes the text bigger or
smaller and then I cannot click on folders as it reverts the buttons. I
reboot my machine and it goes okay for a time but then just could happen
again. I never had this problem for 12months on XP but I have been told
that drivers are available for Vista but I didn't think you need drivers for
mice on newer pcs.

any help please

Dave

Hi, Dave.

Just for fun, why not go to the manufacturer's website and see what they
suggest?

Google gives 196,000 hits for "mouse diamondback vista".

You might find more specific help here in the Hardware Devices newsgroup:
microsoft.public.windows.vista.hardware_devices

Be sure to specify if you are using 32-bit or 64-bit Vista. The drivers
don't mix and match!

Vista may have recognised your mouse incorrectly (as something it isn't) -
check in the control panel and unless you have specific feature you need, it
would install and run as a standard 'PS/2 compatable mouse'
