MOUSE/KEYBOARD PROBLEMS?

Have a friend, that had a wireless mouse and keyboard, that wasn't working.

He picked up a wired mouse and keyboard. The mouse seems to be locking up,
even in safe mode in Vista.
they are a USB mouse and keyboard.

Any suggestions?

possible, think I hopefully have it fixed, sometimes
if you install in the wrong order, it can happen
time will tell.
