Mouse startup issue

Hi.

I got a strange problem. Ever since this morning when I turn my
computer on, everything loads fine except for the mouse. It just freezes
and cant be moved until I disconnect it and re connect and then it works
fine. I use Kaspersky security and it finds no problems with viruses or
spyware. I also use comodo firewall and that scan showed no infections.
I have no idea what could be causing this. Anybody know what may be the
issue?
I use Vista Ultimate 64 bit SP1.

You are using Kapersky anti-virus.
Then you said you were scanning with Comodo Firewall.
It has an Anti-virus application as well?, because you don't scan with a
Firewall.

And, 2 Anti-viruses on a computer will cause conflict.

There used to be an issue like this with the Razer Diamondback series of
mouse, This could be resolve by going to device manager, Usb root hub and
removing the tick from the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to
save power".
You will have to do this for each one in the device manager unless you know
which port it is mapped to.
