Mouse Wheel - IE7

I noticed while browsing that clicking the mouse's third button or wheel, now
activates links in Internet Explorer. It's really annoying pressing it to
turn on the scroll feature while the mouse is over a link, but what's more
annoying is that it also activates links when you click to turn it off. I
don't recall having this problem before. Can something be done?

What mouse are you using ? First check your mouse software settings. My
Microsoft optical trackball using Intellipoint 5.5 enables the action of all
buttons, including the wheel to be selected from a drop down list.
If you have just the basic mouse driver and the mouse is Microsoft
compatible you can download the software for free from this link
