Move Vista/delete XP

I have XP installed on my C: drive and on another harddisk Vista V: - Is it
possible to delete XP from C: and move Vista to C: or give my V: drive the
letter C:

yes, you can assign the letter C: to your Vista drive.
Note that you can't change the boot partition's drive letter in Vista.
So you have to boot into XP and do that there.

Go to Control Panel -> "Administrative Tools" -> "Computer Management" ->
"Disk Management".
Then, right-click the drive where you want to change the letter.
Click "Change drive letters and paths...".
(Hope it's similar in XP!)

You will run into lots of problems if you tried changing the drive letter.
Vista doesn't care what drive it is on. You cannot just delete XP. And you
cannot change the drive letter on the C drive without reformatting it and
removing XP.
