I have installed the full version of Vista Ultimate on my computer and have
the full install program for XP pro. Can I uninstall XP pro from my computer
and install on my wife's? I also installed the full version of Office 2007 on
my computer and would like to remove from my computer and install my full
version Office 2003 to my wife's computer also. Is this legit or will
Microsoft not let me activate on my wife's system?

There is no uninstallation needed. The act of installing vista basically got
rid of XP. I think for Office you get a choice during the install to
uninstall the previous version or run them both at the same time, in which
case you should be able to uninstall 03.

Since both XP and Vista are full versions and don't depend on a previously
installed edition, you should be fine to install XP on another machine now.
If it won't let you activate on the internet, give them a call, tell them the
situation, and they will give you a new product key to enter. I'm pretty
sure the same should apply to office.

Totally legal. Go for it.

The important issue is whether the XP version is retail or OEM. If retail
it can be moved to a new computer, just uninstall it from the first one. If
OEM, per the license it's tied to the first computer on which it's
installed, and can't be moved to a new computer.

Depends on whether it's OEM or retail, no? His saying full doesn't clarify
it.
