There's over 800 codecs that that file might use. There is no absolute
magic bullet.
You need to know what codec the file uses. In the past, content providers
would let you know what strange codec they were using if they were going to
use strange codecs. Now you're expected to figure it out yourself.

You can use WMP's Web Help from the Error dialog to get the fourCC of the
missing codec.
