I am trying to open a project that I have saved and I get the error message:
The file cannot be opened because it is not a valid Windoes Movie Maker
project file. How can I fix this?

Just a thought.

I guess this is an .mswmm file? What happens
if you go to the folder the file is saved in and
double left click it?

The same error message comes up, I tried to open it from windows DVD maker
and it said that the file is not valid or corrupt, so of course I tried it
again but the icon dissapeared (it still shows in movie maker)

I'm thinking you will have to recreate the project.
Sounds like your file is corrupt.
