Movie Maker Stalling (vista)

I put together a slide show of pictures with music using movie maker, but
when I play it on my full screen in constantly stalls both visually and
audibly. I tried downloading version 2.6, and while this version didn't
stall, my pictures appeared all blurry. Suggestions? My computer should be
running fine. . .I keep very few programs running and clean it up/defragment
regularly.

What happens if you Publish the project
and play the resulting .wmv file in Windows
Media Player?

Windows Vista -

Thanks for the help John! It does not stall now that it is published,
although it still is not completely smooth. Still, it is definitely workable
now.
