Because my main partition( C drive) is full, I moved the MS Office file to my
E drive.
At startup now,I get a box which says"A required .dll file MS097 was nout
found. I have this icon on my desktop but don't know where to drag it.
When I try to open Outlook, it says there is a file missing. So, I copied
the desktop MS097 file fron Office (now on the desktop) to Outlook in the C
drive. I then get a new message saying another file is missing, Outllib.dll.
I searched for this file and now have it on my desktop as well. How can I
get them back to where they belong and where is that?

This is hardly a question on Windows Update but try this:

OFFICE97: Mso97.dll and Mso7enu.dll Errors Appear When Starting a
Program
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;164921

For more help, try the Office group and mention your version of Word
or Office.
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...ic.office.misc

Note it is mso97.dll and not ms097.dll

You can't 'move' program files in that way.. reinstall Office onto E if that
is where you want it..
