I am describing my Vista Ultimate. Your situation may be different but still
analogous.
Start>>All Programs>>Windows Photo Gallery>>You will see Windows Media
Player with some directory trees in the left pane.
Next you open Windows Explorer, place your cursor on any picture file you
want and DRAG it to the Windows Photo gallery.
Now, I haven't done it but I am pretty sure you should be able to do it: If
your pictures are arranged in folders, you can drag whole folders pretty
much the same way.
You should end your drag in the left pane on the top where the word Pictures
is located. It is a folder in C:\users\yourName\documents\. Vista will not
allow you to drop it in the wrong place: you will see a "Not Enter" symbol
like on the road when you try to turn the wrong way.
