Moving Storage folders up

In Windows live mail, there is a Move Up command, and when I move the
Storage Folders" up to near the top below the Quick View folders, it stays
there OK only until I close live mail. When I start up live mail again, the
storage folders are back where they were before. I have quite a few email
accounts, and was able to place these accounts in the left folder pane in my
preferred order, where they stay after each session. HOW do I get the
Storage Folders to stay where I want?

Thanks

Not possible..the order will also resort to Storage folders at the bottom.
Email accounts and Newsgroups can be moved up or down in their respective section and will remain.
WLM sections in the folder pane(top to bottom) are:
Email or News Accounts (whichever mode is being used Mail or News)
Outbox
Storage Folders

- the sections will always retain that top to bottom order and as noted, only accounts/newsservers in the Email and News sections
are movable up or down(and within that section)

Thanks Winston. It's not your fault I have 14 email accounts to deal with.
With Outlook Express, all the accounts were not shown like they are in live
mail, so all I can say now is AAAARGH!

Welcome to the club...
At one time I had eleven running in WLM, now pruned to 6 and using OL03 and OL07 for primary pop3 email client.

I keep having to move my outbox to the top in WLM and every time I close and
reopen, it's back in it's old spot. I hate WLM!!! Should have left Outlook
and Outlook Express well enough alone. You guys at MS think you're improving
things, but you're not... maybe on your end, but for all your users, there's
no improvement. When will you all smarten up and leave some things well
enough alone!

You're preaching to the choir....this is a public newsgroup of your peers(other users like you).

To express your concerns to Microsoft and the Live Team...

Were the Local Folders of MSOE even movable? Relative to the account
folders, that is.

OE has one common set of 'Default' folders under Local Folders for all accounts(Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Drafts,
etc). None are moveable up or down.

User Created folders(subfolders created in the Local Folders) are aligned alphabetically below the Default folders.

Subfolders to user created folders are also aligned alphabetically and only movable to another user created folder.

I created a number of sub- & sub-sub-folders under the default Inbox, as
well as folders below the Default folders.
