I have an older 20 Gig hard disk running Win XP that I want to replace with a
newer 120 Gig disk. How do I move my Win XP operating system to the new
disk??? Do I have to purchase a new XP disk and install it or can the system
be moved???

This is the wrong News Group to ask such a question. This News Group is about updating
Windows through the Windows Update Web site.

However, the answer it to install Symantec Ghost. Install the 120GB as a "D:" drive on the
platform,. Create a Ghost Boot Disk. Boot from the Ghost Boot Disk and clone the 20GB hard
disk to the 20GB hard disk. Remove the 20GB hard disk and make the 120GB hard disk the "C:"
drive. Once done you will have the exact system on a 120GB hard disk.

The above assumes the Motherboard BIOS can work with a 120GB hard disk.
