mp3 and Windows Mediaplayer

My Windows Mediaplayer cannot play mp3 files. I think it should be able to
do it.
Someone have suggestions what to do?

Are you getting any particular errors? Also, are you using a DRM'd mp3?
You may have to download licensing for it to work.

I have found out that it must be the software I used to generate mp3 files
which have an error because Media Player can play other mp3 files not
generated by this software. Thank you for your help.
