You can only associate an extension (here mpq) with one particular program
at a time. You could theoretically rename one of those files to have another
(original) extension (eg mppq), and then associate it with another program,
but from what you've said I'm not sure that this would resolve your issue.
Chances are that the particular progarm that recognizes and opens these mpq
files has a restriction to only have one instance running at a time.
But best to check with Blizzard support pages and FAQs. It may not be a
regular issue though, since most non-multitasking mere mortals (females
excluded) will generally only be able to play one game at a time.
