Windows 7.

Is it a coincidence that the time between Me and XP is about the same as
Vista and 7? I hardly think so. MS pushed out Vista so the suckers of
the world like Frank would buy it just like they did with Me. How many
copies of Me did you buy, Frank?

Alias, expecting Frank's usual lies, profanity, insults, empty threats
and bluster and no refutation.

Fast forward 100 years:

Bill Gates III, offspring of original founder Bill Gates announced
Windows 24, code named Titan. The new "improved" Windows will require
at least 220 TB to install and comes on a set of 12 Gold Ray discs
(successor of Blue Ray). Install time is estimated to be only 4 days.
Price is expected to in the area of $2000 for home version.

Asked about tougher licensing requirements the latest Gates quipped
that it isn't true that you still have to give up your first born
before their fifth birthday saying two years service once they turn 18
should be a workable solution for most families.

Gates went on to say that the encoded spying built into Windows for
decades will now be somewhat cut back, no longer recording every
keystroke and sending back volumous reports to Microsoft on every
application you use and logs of every newsgroup, forum discussion and
web pages you visit. Gates when pressed admitted major spying will
still take place but only in the interests of protecting Microsoft
who's assets now total 54 trillion dollars, with the stock price still
stuck around $30 or what it was in 2008.

Questioned why Microsoft needs such capital reserves, Gates said it is
related to "security" and he is continuing plans to install automated
spy cameras on every street corner in America. Gates continued that
their private security force now estimated to be two million stronger
will cut back neighborhood patrols and while Congress in 2025 gave
Microsoft unlimited rights to stop citizens and search their person,
cars and homes without cause for suspected unlicensed versions of
Windows and other Microsoft software, Gates pledged that his security
forces would restrain from using lethal force (except where necessary)
when making traffic stops and Microsoft plans to cut back night raids
where no more than 50 million searches per year for unlicensed copies
of Windows is conducted randomly after midnight.

In other news Apple now proudly claimed 8% market share while Lynix
claims 9% market share.

Seeing all the comments in the websites and forums, initially I also
put the CD in the bottom drawer. Later I read lots of sites, much
information at Axel's site, I installed ME again and once I removed
the problem items, put in IE6 I ended up with something very good. In
fact I have a totally customized install including access to DOS. I
have had no crashes, I edit lots of audio and video.

And I am using it for several years on different computers with nary a
problem.
