MS Money loads but not visible (Windows 7)

This is a cross-post from the ms.public.money newsgroup yesterday, as I
suspect that behaviour may indicative of a more general problem, not limited
just to MS Money. A Win7 newsgroup didn't leap out at me, please advise if
there is one.

Installed the Money Plus Deluxe trial on Windows 7 just fine, but running
the program results in a process being launched (msmoney.exe visible in task
manager), but no UI window appears on screen. Have tried running as admin,
in Vista / Win XP compat mode, all to no avail. Have tried a force display
utility to make the window visible.

Attempting to run the software a second time results in a user warning. Any
input would be much appreciated as to how to go about troubleshooting this.

What else are you supposed to do, install the beta OS and look around at
what was installed with Windows and that's it ? No, you install apps you
use regularly and see if/how they work.
