..NET framework 1.0 was delivered as part of the Operating System, in Windows
XP and Windows Server 2003. There is no add/remove for this software if you
have it natively. If, however, you installed it on Windows 2000, then there
may be an entry in the Add/Remove Programs within the control panel.
Essentially, I agree with Jupiter Jones...you need this critical update.
More and more programs will be written on the .NET framework, and will
require it to be installed for the program to actually execute. This is
true of programs written in at least 3 languages that use the framework.
