MS Patch KB 896423

We installed patch KB896423 now we are receiving a message
Function address 0x77fcb333 caused a protection fault. (exception code
0xc0000005). Some or all property page(s) may not display.

We receive this message when we try and print to a Dell printer.

I just noticed that my computer running XP cannot print to any of my
printers. Other computers running Windows Me can print fine. I'm sure it is
an update that screwed it up, but 7 updates installed today.

I was having the same problem printing with multiple Windows 2000
Professional workstations after installing a series of Windows Update
patches. After individually removing each Windows Update patch I found
that the "Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4" patch was the culprit.
After I removed that patch that fixed this problem.
