Did you change it to domain\user or local account? Mine is already set to
local account but the server startup is set to manual. I checked all the
other sql services and the are in either one of the two recommended formats.

If you think installing patches and security updates is expensive, try not

Sorry. I set it to Local System account. Mine had been changed to a .\user
network account. Right now all of mine are local system accounts. Try setting
them all to local system and restarting them. This is how they are on the
other server I was having issues with however on that machine uninstalling OM
alone resolved the issue.

Needless to say we are reconsidering our use of the LPI software. The 5.1
software has also destroyed our SQL server on which we are running the SC
module. After sitting on the phone with LPI for some 2 or so hours they
"fixed" it after finding some errant data in a few tables under SCData.
within a half hour our memory leak was back and all apps dependant on that
server were inaccessible. The server was at such a crawl we could bearly work
in it locally. I uninstalled SC, then dropped the SC and OM databases and
deleted them and all backup copies. The only thing we've saved from that
install are our custom templates. We haven't decided if we're going to
reinstall and make another attempt at running this suite of software. As of
today I am evaluating two more demos for competing packages.

Good luck with that issue. If I think of anything more I'll be sure to post.

I understand your frustration with LP. I strongly suggest you contact
Alison Ramsdale with LP at aramsdale (at)levelplatforms.com and have her
take over your account. She is amazing. If you are an SMBTN member she can
provide you some great discounts too. (www.smbtn.org)

I will try your suggestions and let you know how it goes.

Hi Nancy,
I tried setting all the services to local and restarting them. No luck.
Same error. I'm going to try a few more things before I burn a support
call.
