I have Vista Home Premium. I use 1 account defined as Administrator (no
password). I tried to install MS Streets & Trips 2008. The programs will
not alloow me to get past the account activation wizrad. The activation
works but the wizard continues to pop up when the program is started. If I
turn off UAC (User account control) the program runs fine. I can not turn on
UAC and run this Microsoft programs. Seems stupid right?
I have even tried to install the software with "Run as administrator" but
the problem persists. I guess Microsoft does not evenknow how to follow its
own rules to allow proper installtion in accordance to UAC.
Does anyone have a recommendation so I can turn UAC back on?
