MS update history list

While checking on the software office viewer files I discovered that the
history log has my Net 2 installation as failed. It has not failed. It is
installed and listed in the Add/Remove. I downloaded it independently of the
auto update site and did all the recommended fixes last month. The net2
files installed successfully.
I did a Belarc report and it lists Net2 as installed.

I suppose the history log does not record the update if it is done outside
the custom update pages. Since it is not offered as a download I'm assuming
the history log to not be accurate.

Updates installed manually do not show up on the WU site in the history.
