MS05-016, 18, 19

Hi

I have recently installed the three hotfixes mentioned above. I have been
checking the file versions of the files to confirm their successful
installation, and have noticed that one of the files listed in the bulletins
"updspapi.dll" is not present on my system.

Could someone adivse what this file does and should I have it installed.

I am running Windows XP SP2 (slimstreamed OEM version)

It's a component of Package Installer-related Files

" These files support the core files; however, they are not all included
in every installer package. "

The latest updates *do* contain Updspapi.dll and it is located in
WINDOWS\$hf_mig$\KBxxxxxx\update folder (where KBxxxxxx is the number of
the update. For MS05-016 it would be in the
WINDOWS\$hf_mig$\KB893086\update folder.
You have to show hidden files, folders, and system files to be able to
