Yeah this is the wrong place to ask but, from a experience point of view.
If you can cluster 2008 as opposed to 2003 I would do that. There are HUGE
improvements.
Don't ever cluster a DC, there is no need and could create headaches for
you. AD is a multimaster db that has built in resiliancy that doesn't
require any type of HA environment.
