Hey all! Hope someone can help. Whenever I start up the computer, once
everything has booted up, I get an error that says "File corrupted! Please
run a virus-scan, then reinstall the application." At the top of the error
box is "C:\WINDOWS\?dobe\mshta.exe" I have tried looking there for this file,
but cannot seem to locate it. Also, I have run my anti-virus', (both McAffee
& Live One Care), & my sytem is clean. I don't know what file to re-install.
Any suggestions at all?

Thanks in advance!

mshta.exe is used by Windows Operating System. mshta.exe is required to open
..hta files. Its not safe to close this exe because it supports your
operating system and if you close it you will be in trouble. I suggest you
only to terminate mshta.exe if you find that its create any problem

Try running these processes below and let the NG know the result.

sfc /purgecache
sfc /scannow

MSHTA was a part of Windows XP and previous versions of Windows. It was
used extensively to execute HTA (Hypertext Applications) and also to
provide Active Desktop features. It also introduced some very wide
backdoors that could be exploited by malware. The fact that whatever is
trying to get to it using the path "C:\WINDOWS\?dobe\mshta.exe" is an
indication that you have malware on the system. the "?" in this path is
a dead giveaway.

My suggestion would be to update your virus scanner, and perform a full
scan on the system. "MSHTA".EXE should not even exist on a Vista
installation.
