msiexec

I cannot work with msiexec....I get this message >>>

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. T his can occur if the

Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel

for assistance."

This problem is discussed on Win95 to XP articles ...nothing for Vista.

What can I do ?

Use the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to remove corrupt configuration
data:
