Hi,
This is may be a slightly drastic. Also, I don't really recall any virus attaching itself to
the Application Data folder.
The real problem is the vast majority of these viruses and worms are one-hit wonders and
therefore the standard virus definitions in most virus scanners may not be able to find it.
Generally, these things are just running as a standard background process with a
normal-appearing executable name. That being said, anyone familiar with a Windows
environment shouldn't have much trouble locating and removing it manually.
