What happened with that MS and YAHOO deal?

They said that msn and yahoo networks would be accessible from both
MSN and YAHOO IM clients...

I have seen no such thing in LIVE 8.0...

Yeah true nothing happened so far

they say first half of 2006 so shouldn't a beta version be out around now?

remember IBM have 'teamed' up with AOL and Yahoo so it could mean yahoo is
forgetting about Msn?

also check out this article

http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/p...ctivityPR.mspx

i don't think this happened yet? plus this was said nearly 2 yrs ago!

so who knows maybe they won't now

While not exactly what you are referring to, I came across an add-on
that others probably knew about already called IMTiger.
http://www.imtiger.com It intergrates AIM/ICQ into MSN. They also are
working on Yahoo integration.

So I guess if MS doesn't do it on their own, this might be an
alternative for some.

I do hope that it gets incorporated into the client though since those
are the two main IM's I use.

For about 2-3 years I used ICQ, then 3 used Yahoo and now I'm moving to MSN
because I do not like some of yahoo services. Although I still have many
friends on Yahoo network, it could be perfect for me to have this
intergration done faster
So I can vote for it

what makes you say that? coz i think wouldn't they have to test it first
before it done on the network? plus wouldn't they have a 'leak' about it
too? lol

just guessing tho
