msn live cannot login from mac

i have this problem since 2 weeks and i found tons of threads for the same
problem but solution till now ,i cannot login to my messenger account from my
mac ,it just works fine from any other windows based computer ,i read on the
internet the same problem but no one was able to provide a soution ,not even
microsoft i sent an email they asked me to do this and do that and then send
them the log but nothing happened after that ,i have mac osx leopard the
latest update 1.5.4 and the latest live messenger ,when i try to connect i
get an error message saying to make sure i typed the correct password and/or
if i'am connected to the internet .
did anybody had this problem earlier ,when i unboxed my mac the very first
app i downloaded and installed was the live messenger.
any feedback would be really appreciated

You need to download the correct WLM Download for the MAC for this to be
campatiable to work.

thank you for your response lee ,but i already install the version from
microsoft.com/mac i assume this is the latest .the problem is microsoft
support asked me to send them the messenger.log but am not able to find this
file after i enabled the logging .
