MSN Live Messenger 8 causing low virtual memory alert

I just installed the newest version of MSN Messenger and ever since I have I
have been getting "low virtual memory" alerts every time I start my computer.
Under the task manager the messenger is taking up the largest amount of
virtual memory while running at 943,852K. I have even downloaded the 8.1
beta version and still get the same thing.
Does anyone have a fix for this, or any info related to this??

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Greetings JR,

You're not the first one to see this. Unfortunately I've yet to reproduce it here.

Someone did figure out awhile ago that an Outlook Express add-in was doing it (why I have no
idea), so if you have any interesting third-party utilities you might try uninstalling them
to see what happens.

For the record, this doesn't seem to be related to Messenger Plus, so no need to uninstall
that if you're using it.

Jonathan

How do I see what 3rd party utilities or Outlook Express add-ins are running
with the MSN Live Messenger to remove them/disable them?
Also, what is Messenger Plus?

Thanks again for the help
