MSN Messanger - dodgy link

Hi, I hope someone can help.

I came back from lunch to a message from one of my friends who was now
offline, I assumed he'd tried to contact me and then got bored and logged
off. All there was in the message box was a web link "bu resim seninmi
www.kizlarsohbet.com/images.php?id=(my email address)" repeated twice. I
tried to open it as he quite often sends me links. It didn't open so I closed
the conversation. My other friends that were online then started messaging me
asking what I'd sent them. They'd each received the link from me (now showing
their email address') several times despite me not sending it to anyone. For
a short while it kept sending the link then crashing all my conversations and
not letting me click on anyone to start them again. I've now changed my
settings to not allow file sharing or accept links but I don't know if its
done anymore damage.

I googled the first part of the link to see if there were any similar
problems but there's nothing, all it shows is a link to a foriegn msn
page??????

Please shed some light!

My Google search against www.kizlarsohbet.com produced the following
results:

Webcam Kizlari..This site may harm your computer.
Sevda Webcam da Soyunursa Böyle etiket olur.! indirin izleyin
Aleme ibret olsun. indirmek icin tikla.
www.kizlarsohbet.com/

and a link to

http://www.msghelp.net/showthread.ph...7304#pid917304 -
which suggests that your computer has been infected by a virus - which
you have probably passed to all your Live Messenger contacts.

I trust you are running robust antivirus software, with up to date
definition files. Do an immediate virus scan.

If your own antivirus software detects nothing, try an on-line
scan from www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner.

I would also recommend that you download and run Spybot Search &
Destroy from
http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/downloa...search-destroy, download
the latest definition updates and "immunise" your system. Then, perform
an immediate scan to "Check for Problems" .

Provided you check for Spybot S&D updates regularly (I suggest
weekly) and immunise after each update, Spybot S&D will block access to
many dodgy websites.
