MSN Return messages

I recently encountered a problem. My friend was on line, but the messages I
sent were retruned as "undeliverable" Why??? I wansn't blocked from them.
What went wrong. Anyone out there who can help?????????Explain this???

In a lot of cases, simply shutting down Messenger and then starting it back up again will
solve problems like this.
