MSWMM Problem

Hi, I am trying to move a movie maker project my son is working on, from an
XP Laptop to his new VISTA laptop (both Using Windows Movie Maker). When I
tried to move it to VISTA Movie Maker, I get the text, but all the picture
frames just have a red X in them. In the help file, it says that Movie Maker
only accepts the standard file extensions i.e., wmv, etc. I did not find
MSWMM. Am I doing something wrong, or is there another step I need to do to
move the project over.

Thanks and happy New Year,

Art

The .mswmm project file is referring back to your original video source
files. You will have to move the source files along with the project file,
otherwise, WMM can't find them.

John,

Thanks much, I was able to get the movie part moved. Now for the next
question, is there a way I can move exactly what was on the story board and
have it show up exactly the same on the other story board (on the VISTA
laptop). My son still has alot of editing to do and the music etc, is all in
one clip and arranged nothing like it was on the other laptop. I hope this
makes sense.

Thanks again,

Art

Art -- not sure what you are asking; suggest you post your question to the
