I heard of this Corel Draw problem the last time MSXML 4.0 was updated. First
lets try reregistering MSXML:
-Click on Start/Run, type in regsvr32 /u msxml4.dll , hit okay.
-Click on Start/Run, type in regsvr32 msxml4.dll ,hit okay
-Retry Corel.
If this fails we will try removing all MSXML SP2 updates and reinstall only
the latest as this supercedes all others. Print this out as it involves
several restarts.
-First download KB92798 and save it to the desktop (do not install yet) from
here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
-Next go to Start/Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs, ensure the show updates
box is checked at the top.
-Locate the entry labeled MSXML 4.0 SP2 (KB927978) click on it, select
remove and after removal reboot.
-After restart navigate back to Add/Remove Programs, locate entry labeled
MSXML 4.0 SP2 (KB925672) and remove it, reboot after removal.
-After restart click on the xml4 installer you downloaded to the desktop
earlier, follow the prompts to install, after install reboot.
-Retry Corel again
Post back with results, if this fails there are one or two other things we
can try.
