Hi -
I tried to follow the instructions below but still receive an error stating
it cannot be installed and I still receive the message I have updates.
I have also tried to turn off the automatic updates, reboot, reinstall and
turn updates back on. This seems to resolve the error message I was getting
(svchost.exe Application error 0x745f2780). However, I still cannot install
the security update.
It is listed under Add/Remove Programs, but if I try to remove it I receive
the following error:
The path 'c:\b4f602886d78425a559083db5c\msxml.msi' cannot be found. Verify
that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the
installation package 'msxml.msi' in a folder from which you can install the
product MSXML.4.0 SP2 (KB 927978).
The last log file I received when trying to install the security update is:

Can you help me figure out how to fix this?
