I have auto-update installed and active which normally works OK, but for the
past few days the yellow shield keeps coming up telling me that updates are
ready to install, but it is always the same one -msxml4-KB927978 and it's
filling my C drive up with folders and driving me nuts... any help please

Thankyou CharlieG, I have read the other posts and deleted it from
"Add/Remove Programs" and it has now disappeared. thanks for your help, Alf
