Has anyone encountered a problem similar to this??
I have 2 systems - XP Pro and XP Home - everything fine on both. PC security
is not a prob - both very secure - all updates r latest.
Heres the problem - after lastest install of updates I am multiple
confirmation windows popping up after some changes. Ill give 2 examples of
what I mean.
1. After install of update from Media Player 9 to 10 (as u know) The user
must go through the setup pages of 10 B4 it can be used. At the end of it
all, MP 10 askes if you would like to do a scan looking for any files mp 10
can play - -
This is when 5 windows appeared asking the same Q
If you would like a real pic of the problem,I have posted it on the first

Other programs are doing the same.
IE 6 did it tonight - the warning that appears when you exit a SECURE page
(https) letting you know that you are losing your web page security, the
message can appear multiple times (2 or 3)
I have noticed this fault happening to BOTH my op sys's so the problem is
not a stand alone problem. Both my sys's are on differnt brand M/Bs etc
Can anyone help
